Almost immediately. The Virtual Merchant service is already running, we provide you with a sign-in, all you need to do is link photos to your items in MYOB, click the upload button and your site is working.
If you're an importer, wholesaler, or distributor, regular customers need a username and password to sign-in and conduct business with you.  Alternatively, if you've enabled Virtual Catalogue anyone can browse your product photos and descriptions online.
No.  Your website is hosted on the Virtual Merchant Network so you can concentrate on your business.  All you need to do is upload your MYOB business information and synchronise your website to keep it up-to-date.  See our System Requirements page for details on what you need to manage your own MYOB website.
There are no setup costs, nor do we have a minimum term contract.  We don't believe in charging businesses to become our customers, besides there's nothing to setup, once you subscribe and upload your MYOB business information - your website is already operational. 
Absolutely.  Virtual Merchant offers several ready-made themes for you to choose from so you can be online immediately.  As the website administrator you have total control over themes, and can define custom colours for your website foreground, background, heading text etc, to match your business identity.  You can also define the contents of your greeting page including logo, terms & conditions page, and personalise the contents of automatically generated emails. 
All customer activity is recorded in real time which means you receive live feedback.  Not only do you know which customers have signed-in, but you know when they signed-in, and which products they showed interest in.  Activity is searchable by customer, by date and time, or by keyword.  It's easy to generate reports, or export the activity information for analysis in another program such as Microsoft Excel.
Yes.  Only a small portion of your MYOB business Information is uploaded to you website; typically product codes and pricing which is encrypted during transmission.  You control access to your website, and only customers with a username and password can gain entry.  Activity recording also monitors the sign-in procedure, which means customers attempting to sign-in are also being recorded.  As the website administrator, Virtual Merchant will advise you of unsuccessful sign-in attempts via email or pager.
